Mahiti Trust partners with rural communities across nearly 180+ villages in the districts of Ahmedabad (Dholera, Dhandhuka, Dholka), Botad (Barwala, Ranpur), and Bhavnagar (Bhavnagar, Vallabhipur) in Gujarat to build resilient, inclusive, and self-reliant societies.

Our core areas of work include:

Women’s Empowerment through Microfinance:
Advancing women’s financial independence through savings and credit-based self-help models that promote economic agency and leadership.

Community-Based Institutions:
Building and strengthening village- and area-level organizations to enable grassroots governance and community-led development.

Natural Resource Management:
Promoting sustainable use of water, land, and other natural resources to ensure environmental resilience and improved agricultural outcomes.

Community Health and Nutrition
Improving access to primary healthcare, nutrition, and preventive services—especially for women and children—with a focus on reproductive and sexual health.

Community Help Desk Centres:
Assisting vulnerable families in accessing government schemes, entitlements, and public services through locally operated support centres.

Social Justice and Gender Equity:

Child Rights and Protection:
Ensuring the safety, education, and well-being of children through advocacy, community engagement, and access to essential services.

Disaster Relief and Mitigation:
