Organizing communities: To organise the
rural oppressed. The key to any developmental
activity! Only with the organized efforts
programs would reach the oppressed.
Focusing on women: Women are the
inevitable part of the process of development.
The programmes/activities planned and
implemented should have their special focus on
women.
Natural Resources: Interventions related
to restoration, conservation and development of
natural resources e.g. Water, Land, Forest, live
stock etc as livelihood opportunities for poor.
Micro-finance: Women cooperative
federations who ultimately lead the development
process would carry out interventions related to
saving and credit activities.
Social Justice: To create an environment
of social justice and equality in Bhal region to
ensure rights and equal opportunities for
oppressed.
Health: Focus on health related issues of
oppressed groups especially of women and
children in all program villages.

The core values are integral part of MAHITI’s

inseparable parts of planning and implementation
of any intervention carried out by MAHITI. They
